RCM V3 – Xbox 360

Getting Started

Now that you’ve installed your RetroCultMods V3 Adapter, we can setup support for your Xbox 360!

Please pick the option that applies to you below:

Stock Xbox 360 (Auth required)

Authentication

  1. Connect a licensed Xbox controller into the USB-A port on the front of the V3 adapter. (pictured)
  2. Plug the adapter into your Wii guitar.
  3. Plug a USB-C cable into the USB-C port of the adapter, then plug the other end into your console.
  4. Wait a moment, then strum up and down to make sure you have inputs.
  5. Remove the licensed Xbox controller from the USB-A port.
  6. Start playing!
Hacked Xbox 360 (Auth not required)

UsbdSecPatch

Whether it be JTAG or RGH, your Xbox 360 must be hacked.
That being said, if you already have a hacked Xbox, you can install the UsbdSecPatch plugin.

  6. Now that you have the UsbdSecPatch installed, your V3 Adapter will work on your Xbox 360 without any authentication needed!
