Revival – Xbox 360
Getting Started
Now that you’ve installed your Revival Kit, we can setup your Revived Guitar for a Xbox 360!
Please pick the option that applies to you below:
Stock Xbox 360 (Auth required)
Authentication
- Connect a licensed Xbox controller or 360 Auth Dongle into the Authentication Cable included in the Revival Kit.
- Plug the guitar into your Xbox 360 with the USB-C to USB-A cable included in your Revival Kit.
- Wait a moment, then strum up and down to make sure you have inputs.
- Remove the licensed Xbox controller from the Authentication Cable.
- Start playing!
Hacked Xbox 360 (Auth not required)
UsbdSecPatch
Whether it be JTAG or RGH, your Xbox 360 must be hacked.
That being said, if you already have a hacked Xbox, you can install the UsbdSecPatch plugin.
- Watch this video on how to install plugins to your hacked Xbox 360 using Dashlaunch
- Download UsbdSecPatch and then follow the steps of the video above
- Restart your Xbox 360
- Now that you have the UsbdSecPatch installed, your Revived Guitar will work on your Xbox 360 without any authentication needed!
- NOTE: Plug in your guitar after you’ve gotten to the 360 home screen. If you already have it plugged in, unplug and plug back in.
